Joint venture farming proposal

Premium Halia Muda through high-density precision fertigation.

TATAN Agrotech is developing an intensive ginger farming project at TKPM Sepang, Selangor. The project is designed around a 10-acre plot with 5 acres of planting area, using 16,000 polybags per acre and 80,000 polybags in total.

  • Initial investment: RM 3 million for setup, infrastructure, and first-cycle operations.
  • Product focus: young ginger harvested at approximately 24 weeks for tender, juicy, fibreless quality.
  • Growing medium: sterile Sekam Padi Bakar to reduce soil-borne disease risk.
  • Facilities: smart pump house, cold room, sorting and packing area, container warehouse, and on-site worker accommodation.
